Jerome M. Hesch to Speak at Los Angeles County Bar Association – “Using Installment Sales to Non-Grantor Trusts Instead of to a Grantor Trust”
Jerome M. Hesch, Counsel to the firm’s Business & Real Estate Taxation, Trusts & Estates, Tax Exempt Organizations and Private Wealth & Taxation Practice Groups will present at the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s program entitled, “Using Installment Sales to Non-Grantor Trusts Instead of to a Grantor Trust if an Appreciated Asset will be sold While The Grantor is Living.”
Jerome will explain how to design an installment sale by the asset owner to a related party so that the related party can later sell the purchased asset to a third-party for cash and permit the asset owner to continue to defer the reporting of the gain from the prior installment sale.
